They combine low switching loss, low RDS(on), and strong short-circuit capability—an uncommon balance in the 200V class. This makes them ideal for systems where electrical stress and performance both matter.
Yes. SuperQ MOSFETs maintain clean switching at high PWM frequencies and handle voltage slews common in high-speed motor drives. Devices are industrial and AEC-Q101 qualified.
Reduced switching and conduction losses lower device temperature, improving system efficiency and extending component life. Devices are 175°C rated.
SuperQ MOSFETs work with standard MOSFET gate drivers. Gates are rated to ±20V, typical threshold voltages are ~3.5V and can be comfortably driven with 8 – 15V supplies. iDEAL will also offer logic-level MOSFETs with lower threshold voltages that can be driven from 4.5V – 6V rails. Lastly, though SuperQ MOSFETs inherently switch very fast, they can also accommodate negative gate turn-off voltages. Performance can be further optimized through layout best practices, driver tuning, and controlled impedance gating.
